I didn't know I'd enjoy this 'school arc', I love how Shin is slowly growing while being taught how to use what he already has instead of relying on someone else or weapons, I love my baby Akira
Shin, Akira, and Seba work really well together! Seeing them bond in this environment was great, and I hope I see more of them soon. I was expecting more filler since it’s a school arc but also to be fair this series is known for going at a breakneck speed lol. Really fun read! I’m glad that this series is still going strong

Satoda sensei sure is strong! They also was able to find Database and it's interesting. An urban legend finally unravelled! Also I thought that Club Jam guy is just a torture freak but it turns out he has an annoying ability to hypnotize.

The action picks back up in this volume. It's interesting seeing Shin from various perspectives. Sakamoto obviously dotes on him, his peers disparage him, and the professors see his carefree approach to life for the danger it potentially is. I also like how Sakamoto doesn't always jump to "bad guy attack" upon meeting a potential threat, instead waiting and probing as to what is the best way to neutralize it.
man it’s sad to see how slur pray on peoples trauma to use them. makes them a sick antagonist though. shin is making me saaaaad he feels like such a burden so is so desperate to progress that he’s burdening himself on the way
