Wonderful mentality to learning. It's nice to see how her background being homeschooled helped form her curriculum for her children, but also the ways that she adapted it to make it better.
Healthy approach to learning, curiosity, motivation, and so much more.

‘Homeschooling—hell parenting—is a journey of courage into the unknown with an audacious belief that you will be enough for your children: the ultimate brave learning adventure. It can’t be any other way. Whatever you offer your kids—your best and your worst—they take it and turn it into fuel for their own blazing fires of blinding beauty.’

I started this book before I began homeschooling and finished it after our first few months. At first, I loved it because it gave permission to just do what works for you and your family circumstances and not get caught up in labels. Afterward I skimmed for ideas. It seemed to finish as more of a memoir about how although the author is now divorced, the members of her homeschool (including her) are each thriving in their own way.
