This is an original story with a strong-voiced protagonist. I appreciated the plot as allegory to the isolation and desperation of addiction, but it just wasn't the kind of book that you can't wait to get back to. Which makes sense, with the heavy themes and some gruesome scenes. Still, worth the read.

A different concept tossed into a familiar genre. The main character is terribly unlikeable but in a zombie apocalypse, that seems ok. A fun read, but not a perfect one.

A surprisingly good read. A fantastic mix of A Requiem for a Dream and zombies. Pick it up, and read it.

I would give this book a 1/2 a star if i could. But I can't. I hate the lack of punctiuation and what was probably suppose to come off as gritty meth head talk just sounded like some fat 14 year old boy talking crap on his headset while playing a video game and calling grown women B**ches.
