One of my favorites this year. I laughed and cried with this one- a book about finding your people and the lengths we go for them once we do find them. I also loved that Backman kept coming back to the Mary Oliver poem "The Summer Day" and the line about "your one wild and precious life." While Louisa and Ted developed well over the story, I think my two favorites were Joar and Ali. They had me laughing, and I wanted their stories to end differently--although I guess the book wouldn't be sitting with me the way it is if theirs had turned out differently.
