I love sad books and I love found family and I love friendship thats stronger than everything else and I love people who are all alone finding solace in one another and I love strangers being nice to each other and I love crying over everything and I love nostalgia and I love people connecting over art and I love feeling hope in the hopelessness and I love human connection so of course I loved this book.

Not my favorite.
I love Backman’s writing, he has a true gift of pulling you in and writing a story that you can literally see on screen. But this one, I felt just very disconnected with the characters and the overall story. The timeline was not my favorite.
