Y'all, this book! It might be my favorite Backman yet. It's funny and tender and authentic and such a BEAUTIFUL portrayal of friendship and art and what it means to just love each other. The characters are so unique and well drawn, and the story itself just has such valuable things to say about living. I hugged it at the end.

Another masterpiece by Backman. A beautiful, moving, and emotional punch to the gut. A story of friendship and love and loss and art and all the big things and all the small things of life.
