4.5 stars! I read this for pure nostalgia purposes and I was not let down. A middle grade read about wild cats who live in clans and honestly it was just fun. I was OBSESSED with these in middle school and honestly still banging

This is such a throwback. Honestly I reread it because I saw some tiktoks talking about it, and I just wanted to relive my childhood a little. Not a bad read, but I'm no longer the audience for these books. Did give me a laugh though.

I read this book to my 12 yr old sons, and they really enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, found the writing extremely irritating. If cats are speaking in complete sentences, they are NOT meowing, or mewing. To me, the writing and story felt contrived and amateurish, and the characters are all one-dimensional. I was in a hurry to finish it so we could move on to something more enjoyable.

Upon rereading this book I can definitely see how my friends and I were obsessed with this series growing up. It is compulsively readable and a true joy to read.

this was cute! I can definitely tell that it’s written for a younger audience, but that’s not necessarily bad. the narrator for the audiobook was awesome, I loved the different voices he used. i’ve learned that i’m just not that into books with animals as a main character. also, there was a lot more violence and blood than I was expecting for a children’s series lol.
