fast-paced
I still enjoyed this one, but it was lacking a little bit of the same oomph the first one had and the repetitiveness becomes more of a problem when the characters are having the same realizations 10 times over.
I am loving this series. A few things I love about it:
1. The idea that consent is important, not even Gods should be above consent.
2. The concept of communication is a key element to making a relationship work.
3. It is okay to seek help.
4. We do not need to face are burdens alone.
5. Family is not always the one we are born with, sometimes it is the ones we choose.
Last but certainly not least; faith is a powerful thing, but it only works if you believe in it.

I like the way you tie us all together.
i’m gonna tear my fucking eyeballs out of their sockets if in book 3 nari doesn’t realize how deeply zeal cares about her i swear ☠️ fucking killing me slowly here!
anyway, now with that out of the way… i can say i enjoyed this installment too. once again this is a series you’ll only like if you enjoy all the characters. bc there’s no big argument or fight scene really. it’s just more about nari learning about her place in all of this bs and also navigating her changing relationships with her guys. which is lovely btw. i love how the author made them all so open, loving and trusting. they don’t hide shit from each other, they always communicate their feelings which only makes the bond stronger. ugh i love it. i am interested as to how the story evolves tho bc ☠️ 6 books?!

This has been such a captivating series. I love everything about the books, but I get confused with the world building. Is it technologically advanced, what time is it set in??
