This series of comics are just so much fun, but somehow, sometimes hard hitting. The fact that Gwen was a fangirl before joining the Marvel universe makes her interactions with new heroes much more interesting than they would have been, so the crossovers with Miles Morales in this book was definitely a highlight. The side characters are also well written but do not take away from Gwen’s (sometimes self-proclaimed) spotlight.

This is one of those series that I read because they are kinda funny and I don't have to care about any of the characters.

I just wanted a quick easy comic to read over the weekend and this hit the spot. I read the first Gwenpool comic in the beginning of the year, which feels like a lifetime ago! This was really funny and I loved her interactions with all the other superheroes. I personally prefer DC over Marvel but it was neat to see Gwenpool with Spiderman, especially the Miles Morales iteration. There isn't too much to say but seeing a pink female superhero was really neat and I hope to read more of the series. I just moved to a new county and I'm waiting on my library card. Hopefully they have more in this collection because my old county did not!

4.5 out of 5 stars.

I still love everything about this. The characters are more fleshed out, the writing is improving and the art style is so freaking adorable. I love it.

3.5* I liked it although not as much as the first volume. I still really enjoy the concept of Gwen just being a normal person from our world that loves comics and somehow got transported into the comic world and I liked this comic the most when it really played with this idea like in the crossover with Miles Morales. The other storyline with the aliens was in my opinion fine but not that special what I liked is that Gwen isn’t always really a hero but sometimes almost seems like a villain and she is also working with some villains.
So overall I really enjoy the concept, the humor, that Gwen is really a morally ambiguous character and the art is also quite nice but the storyline itself wasn’t the exciting. But I‘m still intrigued to see what’s next for Gwenpool...

While I love Gwen Poole as a character and the theming around her story these issues were a little lack luster. I didn’t love this plot line but the Miles issue was a treat.
