This was such a sweet book! Also the real MVP of the book is Shirley and she definitely needs a raise along with the annual cruises!

Jenny is an escort for a "dating" agency in Boston. She's barely making by, honestly hates her job and dreams of a day a rich(billionaire) will see and "buy" her. After years her wishes come true!

Cole is a venture capitalist playboy in Boston. He hires Jenny just for fun after learning his friend hired one of Jenny's friends at the agency. As soon as Cole sees Jenny he's attracted to her, he feels that he can be is authentic self with Jenny and loves the she brings out the best in him and makes him happy. He'll do anything to make Jenny happy as well.

This story is a bit insta love for me, but when you know you know. They make an adorable couple and are basically made for each other!

Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

Cole and Jenny's journey from contract to full-fledged relationship was a blast. Jenny's quirky humor and vibrant personality add just the right spice to Cole's life. The side relationship of Dre and James was a highlight, and a novella about them would be fantastic!

This book takes Pretty Woman vibes to a spicier level with devious rich characters and a gripping ending. Cole's charm and Jenny's vibrant soul make their romance a delightful mix of fun and passion. Jenny, chosen by a billionaire for two weeks of wedding events, faces dreams turned reality with financial perks. However, as their time together progresses, the harsh reality of their different worlds sets in, especially with Cole's dad resorting to blackmail.

Despite Cole's wealthy exterior, his openness and quick defense of Jenny won me over. Jenny's positive outlook, despite her circumstances,  and caring nature, evident in her friendships and interactions, captured my heart. Conflicts arise from their differing worlds, escalating as the story unfolds. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment, especially with Cole's troublesome dad in the mix—hoping he gets what's coming to him!

If you love a fast-paced, insta-love, and binge-worthy fake dating billionaire romance, this book is a must-read!

I had a fun time with this book. I do think that the next book could be combined with this one since it was so short. I wanted more time to get to know the characters since we know almost nothing about Jenny's past. I am very interested to go and read James and Audrey's story though.

I received an arc from grey's promotion.

ARC REVIEW

My Star Rating: 4/5 ⭐
My Spice Rating: 3/5 🌶️

Billionaire and I follows the story of Jenny and Cole. Jenny works as an escort and is given the job of a lifetime. Cole hires Jenny to date him temporarily and accompany him to a wedding. Cole is a playboy but when he meets Jenny everything changes. Jenny is attracted to Cole and after spending time with him, she sees he is charming, and wonderful to be around. Cole loves how happy Jenny makes him. She has a great personality and keeps him on his toes. Jenny and Cole transition from being together based on a contractual agreement, to being in an official relationship. Their story is filled with fun, romance, spice and drama. Jenny starts to realize she may not fit into Cole’s world, and trouble arises when Cole’s father gets involved.

This book reminds me of Pretty Woman. I enjoyed the characters. I love how fun, free, open, and positive Jenny is. She has so much gratitude and really appreciates life. Cole was initially unlikable, but turned out to be protective and really showed his love for Jenny. Although Jenny and Cole come from different worlds, I love how their relationship developed. This is a fast-paced, fake-dating billionaire romance with lots of spice. The story was a little predictable but there are some twists that surprised me. This is the first book in a trilogy and there is a cliffhanger.

The storyline revolves around Jenny who, despite coming from a humble background, finds herself entangled with Cole Bryson, a charming billionaire. The plot explores the complications that arise as their relationship blurs the lines between fantasy and reality as Jenny grapples with her emotions and makes a “rookie mistake” by falling for Cole.

Jenny who starts off in a temporary arrangement as an escort but finds herself enabled in a more profound relationship with Cole Bryson, who starts off in a temporary arrangement as an escort but finds herself entangled in a more profound relationship with Cole Bryson, a charismatic billionaire.

The dynamic of Cole transitioning from a self-proclaimed bachelor to a lover and best friend, coupled with the external threats to their relationship, suggests a character-driving plot with emotional depth. The novel confront the challenges that come with navigating a romance within the opulent and demanding would of Boston’s elite.

The mention of a threatening father, secrets from the past, and the potential consequences for both characters' lives. The book involves elements of suspense or conflict. The narrative challenges Jenny’s belief in fairy tales, hinting at a more complex and realistic portrayal of relationships and the challenges that come with them.
