The book starts with the characters hooking up in te first 5 minutes. Definitely not the sort of book I enjoy, so decided to dnf.

I thought this was a delightful novella. Toby and Miles are both so charming and it was so easy to get on their side. I thought the pacing was perfect and I was so engaged and invested in what would happen next to the pair. There was just the right amount of steam and it was balanced well with the rest of the action of the story.

Sometimes a novella is just what you need. The author manages to cram in just as much character development and plot as many full length novels. We just get the payoff more quickly here!
