i did not think i would enjoy this as much as i did. the characters were interesting and semi-flushed out (especially for a thriller). the plot was interesting, the twists and turns kept me guessing, and it was truly thrilling. i thought this was great to read in the winter.

I feel sick. The body horror was too much for me. But the twists were good. I won’t be traveling by myself any time soon after reading this.

I haven't really read much thriller books like these so I'm not sure how to rate this properly.

It was enjoyable and did have some shock factors. 
It's a solid thriller book, I liked it.

This book could have been so much more if it didn’t rely on racism for the main villain. The story was fine, unbelievable at times, but nothing too crazy for thrillers. However, I had to stop myself from throwing the book across the room more than once at its blatant racism and the fact that it seemed like Taylor Adam’s has never met a women in his life, with how Darby was written.

The first 100 pages caught me off guard because I thought it was a mystery—not a thriller. That’s my fault, but once I realized that this wasn’t the world’s worst mystery, I read it in less than five hours.
