I feel like any well thought out review is out the door on this one. Fangirl review it is. I literally had difficulty setting this book down.
I LOVED this enemies to lovers. It had everything. The romance- the feels- the sexy times (which was something completely new to me that I didn’t think I would care for and I was proven so wrong- the author did so well meshing their proclivities with this raw emotion and these epic feels and it was SO good!) I loved the hidden insecurities the heroes faced and the friendship and partnership they built and then to top it all off- it has an “adventure”. SO not only do we have this super hot and swoony enemies to lovers romance- but we have this epic side quest adventure with expanded monster lore… and I just absolutely loved it. I loved it.
No notes. 10 out of 10.
I am excited about the hint at who is next and I just cannot even wait! I really enjoy this Goliath’s world.

I usually love Lily Mayne's books but I tend to be not a super-fan of their nsfw scenes. I have to say I enjoyed the nsfw scenes in this novel more than the other series! They feel more integrated in the plot, especially because this is a case of "enemies who sleep together" so even if the nsfw scenes are a lot, they are also useful for the plot!
I really enjoyed the animosity between the characters a lot! It felt both like tension and realistic hatred even if born from prejudice/misunderstanding/an initial meeting. The relationship evolves so beautifully and naturally! And I really wanted to spend a moment to talk about the wrestling. I am a big wrestling fan (NJPW!!) and I feel like Lily Mayne is too! The book seemed to understand kayfabe and the showmanship of wrestling itself perfectly!
