That was fantastic. Even though degradation is not my kink, this one wasn't overly gross or demeaning and it made for extremely believable sexual tension between enemies. This one was mostly smut, tbh, but still fun with the glimpses of the other characters we've come to know and love. The cackles-per-minute rate in these books is always high, and this one did NOT disappoint. Nothing compares to the first book, so far, but this may be my second favorite, even though both Larkin and Holt will forever top my list of hot messes. ||

I really didn’t like High Lord Crossbody at first he was so uptight and annoying but he grew on me . Plenty of laughs as usual from the Goliaths . Then we met Crossbody’s brothers especially the younger one and his fascination with the adult film industry . I so want him to go to the human realm and choose that as his career i bet that would dislodge the stick from up their mothers butt 🤣

I enjoyed the sexual tension of this rivals-to-lovers. The last third was a bit OTT for me. Also, I would have appreciated if at some point the kink stopped being so undernegotiated.
