This book brought me so much flippin joy. I just can’t.
Vince and Crossbody were absolutely the perfect everything. I can’t even begin to describe this book except - HOT - FIRE - RAW - and - PERFECT.
Just enough emo-ness to bring some drama but so much spice and fluff. I … ugh! Words don’t even do this book justice. It’s so funny and sweet and loving and such a joy and comfort. I can’t wait to hear it in the audio version soon. Cause damn. It’ll be comedic gold.
And the fact that Taylor was 10000% correct! If you know, you know!!! 😂😂😂

This story was so delicious! It had a little more serious tone than the others. Enemies to why can’t we stop ending up in spicy situations to lovers. This story was a REALLY HOT slow burn. It makes sense, I promise!
It was nice to learn more about Crossbody. To understand why he is this self contained island of a fae. We get to know Vince and understand why he disliked Crossbody so much. They both realize some of their misgivings and course correct. The personal growth each character experiences brings this story & their relationship to a whole new level.

Listen. To say I’m obsessed with Goliaths of Wrestling is honesty and understatement. Each book just keeps getting better and better. This book was maybe my favorite? Yea… probably. Glorious. False Comeback is the hilarious enemies to lovers that we have all been waiting for. It goes from angry hot to mushy sweet in one wild ride, and honestly, it will be a go to reread for sure.

Holy crapoli, talk about enemies to lovers.
If you have read the other books in the series, you know the epic tension and build-up of Vince and Crossbody. These two effing *Hate* each other. (The capital H is not a typo.)
Crossbody is Royal Fae. He's kind of pompous and a bit of a d!ck (or is he?). He runs on the treadmill ALL THE TIME in those TINY DANG SHORTS. How frustrating. 🫠
Vince is a ghoul, and he's known as the Rolling Rimmer. Because of his long tongue. And the roller skates. And the Rim Jab. No, not like that (totally like that). It's his signature wrestling move. 😉
Anyway. These dinguses. They no likey but ya know. Sometimes, people bond over being a pathetic hole. 🥹
In all seriousness, Lily wrote these two dumb dumbs falling for each other in the best way. Starting with some throat f*cking and ending with adorable sweetness, with a delectable journey of self-discovery, independence, and *maybe we do have a lot in common after all* in the middle.
Corey contains multitudes, and I'm so glad he was even more present in this book. We also still see our couples from the previous books, which is very personal to me personally on a personal level. They all have a special place in my heart.
Lady Potato and Klaus are the LOML. Period.
Okay. So. Read the other books, or you'll be v confused.
Sorry, this is my most chaotic review in a while. 😂
