It was a pleasure to see these two change over the course of the story. Vince seemed a little stuck on his guilt for a while, but he pulled himself together eventually. 

The climax was eventful without being over the top even for as wild as it was. I enjoyed seeing a side character return in a much more significant role. And because of that the ending was so much sweeter.

I'm quite sad, I caught up to the series, because now I have to wait on the next book.
