I have followed this manga since the original release. That was eight years ago. EIGHT. Can you believe that? This story was a constant in my life for almost a decade and now it's completed.
I love this story. I love the characters, the art, the dry humor. I love the way Asano captures friendships and loyalty. The mediocrity of life and the tension of sci-fi. I love everything about this.
Of course, I adored Kadode and Oran. Their friendship and quirks felt so close to reality. They're truly well written girl characters with rich personalities and motives.
I also loved the friendgroup. All of them were such an interesting characters but Makoto really got me. I loved her and was so excited for her bigger role in the latest volumes.
The whole flashback volume was amazing and so was the decision to follow Kadodes father in the last volume. I like how Asano takes a chance and switches the narrative.
Honestly, I never really know how to review manga. I will just say that I'm greatful for the past eight years and I'm excited to see what Asano will create next.

I think this is the only book where time travel to fix everything actually satisfied me.
