Allow me to scream forever about how much I enjoyed this book. Julie Soto kinda nailed the grumpy/sunshine trope and I'm excited to see what comes next. The characters felt like they actually grew and developed over time and I was equally sympathetic and frustrated with Ama throughout the book. Sometimes that makes it a fun read and sometimes makes me want to throw the book away, but thankfully this was the former.
I also don't typically like books that jump from present to past because I don't feel like I'm learning enough about the present day characters but it worked so well in Forget Me Not. One of the plot points that I had wanted more of was the brides pushing Elliot and Ama together but I feel like that was forgotten about after the first little *nudge nudge* but that's a little nit picky.
Definitely a new author and romance book that I'll recommend.
