Hagan desaparecer al hombre de la escena y la causa motivadora de nuestra hambre y exceso de trabajo será abolida para siempre.

I read 1984 first. Animal Farm touches on many of the same ideas. But, it's so short and quick-paced, it's hard to really feel invested in the story.

Brief and brilliant. It’s a classic for a reason. Fantastically biting social commentary, great satire and such a perfect way to present a scathing criticism of the Russian revolution and communism in general. Pretty much everything Orwell writes is perfect, so it goes without saying that you need to read this.
