If you are intrigued historical fiction, Holocaust stories or anything of the like, then this is a great book for you. 'Let Me Whisper You My Story' tells the tale of young Rachel, a Jewish girl during World War 2 trying to survive the war. All the while, she is held back by the fact that she is unable to speak after her father's last request of her before he was taken away by the Nazis.

This book is set over multiple years, beginning when Rachel is around 5 years old and the harsh rules against Jews have started being put in place. It ends when she is around 14 or 15 when Jews have begun locating their lost loved ones or finding a new home.

I have enjoyed this aspect of the book as we see Rachel grow from a young girl who likes to hide in wardrobes and play with dolls, to a confident young woman embarking on a journey to find her family.

Overall, the book was emotional, inspirational and I just loved it. I would have loved to know more about what happened in the end, however, the ending was still beautiful on it's own.

In terms of what age it would be appropriate for, I would say that it
I would definitely suggest this book to anyone who is looking for a good read.
