"When in Romeā€¦"

Beautiful story, beautiful writing. Sarah Adams captures our hearts once again with Amelia, a stranded pop-tart and Noah, Mr. small-town baker. We see love and lost, insecurities and strengths. As a closed door romance, Sarah is able to provide rising steam without falling into spicy smut which adds to the lightheartedness of the novel. Can we get a round of applause for all the supporting characters please?! I loved everyone, especially because there is at least one person that every reader will be able to relate to. Overall, a novel I would recommend to anyone looking for a lighthearted read where the past struggles to hold one back from moving forward and sometimes one just needs some time to find oneself. Also, Audrey Hepburn references!

P.S. Hoping for a future bonus chapter or even a short novella! *fingers crossed*

I think this book has changed my mind about small town romances! This book was so adorable! Despite Amelia being a famous singer, she was so relatable and both of their personal issues felt so real and understandable.
Their chemistry was perfect and Noah is just perfect!
I was nervous for the ending, but it felt like a realistic HEA for their characters.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dell, and Sarah Adams for providing me access to this book.

If you like grumpy/ sunshine, celebrity meets small town love interest with plenty of chemistry, and towns reminiscent of Stars Hollow with all the pop culture references then this romcom is for you! Sarah Adams knows how to write witty banter, and there was plenty of it between main characters Amelia and Noah. I enjoyed the supporting characters as much as the main characters, especially the sibling relationship between Noah and his sisters. Sarah Adams, can we get one of their stories next?! This was a fun romance that I read in a day!

Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing for the opportunity to read this e-ARC. All opinions are my own.
