3.5 for me.
I loved the writing, the easy way this is to read and of course... Tatum! Such a loveable kid.
I was not really impressed with the storyline I must say. Natalie is 17 and has a crush on her brother's best friend Alden so when he seems interested during her party she goes for it, only to be devastated when the next morning Alden doesn't remember a thing because he was really drunk. And soon he starts dating another girl, while she is taking a pregnancy test and bawling her eyes out. She decides to keep the baby and never tell anyone who the daddy is. Her parents accept this.
Four years later she has a lovely kid and works her ass off as a single mom when Alden returns and buys the restaurant Natalie works at. Alden of course finds out he is Tatum's daddy and he is really mad. Everyone is mad at Natalie because she kept him from her baby, even her parents.
This is were I almost put the book down. Really? You accept your 17 (!) year old daugher is pregnant and won't tell who's the daddy and then you are all angry and disappointed. She was not even an adult at that time. Alden was 20 years old, was at the party to supervise and got so drunk he forgets a whole night and everyone is mad at Natalie??!!
Moving on... I did like the rest of the book when Alden did his best to engage with Tatum while the attraction between him and Natalie got hot again. He was such a sweetheart with his little girl. I must say, Natalie came across a very good mom as well. She did a good job for someone so young.

Perfect mood read
This was the perfect read to get me out of my slump. I found that I actually enjoyed the family drama because it was a legitimate conflict that was handled with communication. The sexy parts were great too, not being overly graphic but still really hot.
My one issue with the story is the underage pregnancy, while I do understand how it fits into the story, I think her being 18-20 and in college would have worked as well.
