I was introduced to Flannery O’Connor through a graduate seminar from Ralph Wood at Baylor. So I feel like I should appreciate her writing and theological insights about the Christ-haunted South. (I was born and raised in Tennessee, lived in the South almost my entire life.) But for reasons that remain elusive to me, I have not connected to her writings yet. I will try again in the near future.

It took me a long time to get into this one, and by the time I was interested, I had almost finished it. It might require me to do a little research on it to fully appreciate it.
