Space. Nazis. In The Future! I didn't think there was much new ground that The Modern Day Master of Science Fiction, Jeremy Robinson, had left to cover. I was wrong. He hadn't covered space Nazis in the future yet, and that has now been corrected in truly awesome fashion. This one has everything you would expect from a tale of late 80s Special Forces soldiers being thrust 1,000 years into a future where the Nazis eventually came back, destroyed Earth... and are trying to take over the entire galaxy. Some Firefly, a good dose of WALL-E, and a few key callbacks to other previous Robinson books (easily explained in context, but then you're going to want to go read those books too :) ). And a pair of significant cameos at the end that could signal that Robinson is FINALLY about to give us another Avengers Level Event soon! All told, one of Robinson's more fun books to date, which is saying quite a bit, and very much recommended.

This one had me worried for awhile... It seemed very... Fleeting? While we get background on some of the characters, it also feels like it's not very deep background. But i suppose that's how most of Jeremy's books feel. And there is a very common feel to most of his characters -and those that seem like they're going to be interesting and different... Don't always stay around, or don't get fleshed out.

Having said all that, i keep reading his books because they're so entertaining! I seen to be listening to them slightly out of order of the bigger picture, but he writes them so that that's ok. I love these books and will continue to listen to them!

Ready Player One fodder pandering to Gen Xer 80s lust. Occasionally charming but fundamentally unprovocative.

I really enjoyed this book. Maybe it’s a guilty pleasure. Puerile, yes. Unique, definitely. Adult language & situations. It gets increasingly crazy. Time travel. A quest. Future nazis. Racism in the year 2989. 80’s music. Love & betrayal. Aliens. Monsters. The humor is sarcastic, just the way I like it. I loved it! You need the audiobook as RC Bray narrates this book to perfection. I listened to this in one day. All the stars!

Exo Hunter is quite the experience!

At first I wasn't sure if I would like the book, feeling very Military esk, but then as the story suddenly takes a twist and turn 1000 years into a Nazi infested future and that's when the story of Dark Horse really changed! He fought, explores planets, and is a likable character throughout and I found myself rooting for him and laughing the entire time.

The characters were likable, the adventures were fun, the small moments all had meaning, and 4th dimensional travel was very unique and cool!

Not only is this book an easy quick and funny read, but this book is great on its own I don't feel a need for a sequel even though it felt one could be written.

Check it out if you need something light and just want to have a good time!

This felt a lot like Guardians of the Galaxy, which isn't bad in any regard. You sympathize with the main character and get a lot of laughs along the way. The book is chock-full of fun 80s references and jokes. Overall an enjoyable listen.
