I got this anthology book as an arc on Netgalley and it has since come out. Yeah it was pretty good! It features the stories, poetry and art of queer people and cishet women. The wide variety of styles and subjects offered in this anthology kept this very interesting.

This is a really great poetry and drawing collection! While I had my my favorites, everything in this collection was great! I would recommend this! My favorites are 'Pop!' By Jake Price, 'Transition Goals' by Zephyr James and 'The Flesh Won't Last Forever' by Elyssa Tappero. Special Thank You to Emily Perkovich, Querencia Press and NetGalley for allowing me to read a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was honored to contribute to this brilliant charity anthology edition featuring women, queer, trans, and enby voices. My poems “my body is not revolutionary”, “the purge”, and “compulsory” are each dear to me at my core as a genderqueer, plus size lesbian. It is vital to me in my work to uplift marginalized words and art, and I feel Querencia Press as a whole accomplishes this to the fullest extent. I encourage readers to support this press and Not Ghosts, But Spirits II as we fight each day to highlight groups that are often silenced in mainstream media. We are not quiet like ghosts, roaming aimlessly in search of peace. We are spirited, alive, and strong-willed, and we are here to stay.

I was given the arc by NetGalley and I couldn't be more thankful!
This beautiful and heartfelt art & poetry collection made me FEEL. So many of the poems made me pause and think and the artworks in between created a well rounded concept.
This book was crafted with so much love and it really shows!

Art is very subjective, in particular poetry. There were some poems, some art that I really liked, some I really didn't like and some I just didn't care about. So it's very difficult for me to actually rate this anthology.
I love that this book is diverse in every way: heritage, gender, sexuality of the authors and also topics/contents, style and typography of the poems. So there will be something in there for every taste!

My favourite poems where by far the ones by j. g. bova.

The only thing that really bothered me was that it started out with the poems I personally disliked the most, but that's a me problem I suppose.
