This my second time trying this author, and the second time I haven't enjoyed one of her books. As with the first book, there's always something that pulls it out from a 1 star rating, and for this one, I found it to be Nick's career. I was entertained by the comic artist that had his strip made into a TV show, and that's what saved the book for me.
Unfortunately, the rest of the book was very boring for me. Harper's complete turnaround was a bit unbelievable, and her snark factor could have been toned down a good bit toward the end of the book. Nick was kinda clueless when it came to love itself, but his total "I need to get Harper back" ploy felt a bit false. I also had a hard time connecting with the characters overall, which lessened my enjoyment of the book.
All things considered, I might read a couple of the author's shorter works, but I won't be getting much of her work in the future.

I liked this even more than the first in the series!
Harper is fun and she has a power over Nick that is fascinating to read from Nick's perspective. Nick is so smitten from the beginning that the whole book is basically his wish fulfillment. I loved it. This was the best use of the big-brother's-best-friend trope that I've read so far, I think.
And can we talk about Sebastian York's narration? D A M N. I'm glad there are more books, because I'm ready to listen to his voice for days.
All in all, a fun, fluffy, sexy read that can stand alone, if you're not interested in the fake-engagement trope that is the first in the series!

ARC received from author for an honest review
I adored Big Rock, so Mister O had some pretty big shoes to fill.
And fill them he did! I loved the snippit we had of Nick and Harper in Big Rock, but getting their whole story was so much more!
I loved the story told in all male POV. It is one of those things that a lot of female authors just don't seem to be able to pull off (snicker) but Ms Blakely does it well (I am sure Mr Blakely had a bit of input into Nick's thoughts!)
Nick and Harper's story is hot, steamy, just sexy from the beginning to the end. I LOVE that Harper's career is not a cookie cutter kind of job. Who didn't want to be a magician when they grow up? And the things these two can do with a majic wand... both kinds of magic wand!!
I couldn't help but fall in love with Harper and Nick, and I can't wait for the next book in this series - Nick's brother Wyatt.
Please don't make me wait Ms Blakely, I need more.

What can I say, I am a sucker for romance.. Nick is Harper's brothers BFF. When he finds himself attracted to her, he tries to deny that it's just something temporary or is it.
Absolutely loved that the characters jobs were different then the normal jobs you read about. Love the quirky humor as well.

Loved it! I was keen for this book when we had the little glimpse of Nick and Harper in Big Rock, so it was great to finally get their story.
Holy heck this book was HOT. I loved the dirty jokes and the smart ass comments and the texting. I loved everything about this book.
Definitely recommend and I'm keen to learn more about Wyatt in his book. I was hoping he'd getting one when he was introduced in this.

Four and a half O-O-O-OMG stars.
I only read this because everyone has been raving about [b:Well Hung|29418278|Well Hung|Lauren Blakely|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1469002676s/29418278.jpg|49676646] on Goodreads and it's not out yet (grrrrh). I must say I saw this book a lot a while back but the title combined with the cover totally put me off. In the words of Vivian Ward from Pretty Woman "Big mistake, huge!". This book is really nothing like I expected.
Mister O is actually a cartoon/ animated character in a late night TV show, written by Nick Hammer. Mister O is a super hero who saves the world by giving women orgasms. Nick is the geeky nerd who drew cartoons at school but has now filled verra nicely, verra nicely indeed. He has also lusted after his best friend's little sister Harper ever since the two of them pretended to make out to tease her brother (who I have just learned was the lead in [b:Big Rock|26252659|Big Rock|Lauren Blakely|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1441742244s/26252659.jpg|46249382], which I am about to 1-click right now!).
Harper is a magician, she and Nick have been friends forever. When she saves Nick from an overly-friendly female fan who wants him to autograph parts of her anatomy, Nick owes her a favour. Watching Harper totally miss the barista hitting on her and then get all tongue-tied when a good-looking Dad talks to her about doing a magic show for his daughter's birthday party, Nick offers to teach Harper the ways of dating and talking to guys.
I L.O.V.E. a 'teaching someone the ways of the opposite sex' novel. especially when one of the duo is already lusting after the other. This book was laugh out loud funny, I can't understand why I didn't highlight any of it, probably too busy reading and laughing! Nick was a wonderful hero, just loved him, and Harper was such a fun heroine.
This was funny, sexy AND cute.
