A good balance between the funny and the feels, it was a very enjoyable read. If you’re into funny, sexy, nerdy love stories, I'd recommend it.

Illustrator& writer for television cartoon-also minor player in Big Rock, Nick Hammer has a thing for the ingenue and his best friend's little brother. Very well done & believable connection between Harper and Nick. My favorite characters are the tender yet strong men who put the women's pleasure first. Very enjoyable read.
This book was fun! I enjoyed book one, so I figured I'd like this one as well! The characters were great and I fully intent to continue the series!
Bad habits are hard to break. I think this series, for me, has become a bad habit and it's definitely time I break it.
I just don't think I love a f/m romance that's told exclusively from the male perspective. I don't mind if it's told exclusively from the female perspective - easier to relate, I suppose. But a singular male perspective that, in the case of this book, consists primarily of Nick going on and on and on about his ability to pleasure women...it's a shock that I actually finished this book.
I couldn't root for the characters, much less care if they got their HEA. It seemed superficial and lacking substance which, given the length of this book, is rather surprising. Also...I know there are only so many tropes in romance. But one particular reason this book irritated me so much? The heroine asking her brother's best friend to tutor her in the art of sex and seduction has been done before...by the same author!
I hate quitting on a series midway or just bailing on an author altogether. But...I think that time has come. I've enjoyed a great many of her books. But, it's time to break this habit.

I gave it 3 because I enjoyed it more than the two books from this series that I rated at 2 stars but still...it's more like 2.5 (WHEN WILL GOODREADS ALLOW 0.5 RATINGS, WHEN, I NEED IT).
Overall I guess what I want to say is...I know it's a genre but it's XXI, for fu*k's sake, so I'm over this kind of sexist bullshit that paints a man as this beast whose daily accomplishment is refraining from having sex, like - Of course, I read contemporaries mainly because I look for something fun and steamy but ...NOT LIKE THIS:
"They say men have sex on the brain 99.99 percent of the time. You’re not going to catch me trying to dispute that.
Why would I? It’s pretty much dead-on accurate, especially when you consider the remaining 0.01 percent of brainpower is tirelessly dedicated to finding the remote."
And that's just like the first paragraph of the first chapter *sigh* Maybe it's supposed to be funny, well then I guess I have a very different sense of humour. And actually funny thing is, that apart from that, the main hero is really written as a great sweet guy, not some sleazebag.
Anyway, I think I am done for now, time to move on to something different.

Loved this book! It is sexy, fun and such a sweet story. The sexual tension is off the charts. This is a keep-your-boyfriend/husband/mate-near while you read kind of book. Trust me on this one.
THE REVIEW
Why this book?
I love these kinds of books when all the guy needs is that special someone
What I thought
This is one of those books where the guy who is obsessed sex falls hard for one special girl. I loved every minute of this book. It was fun and entertaining with great banter and a touch of humor. The romance was sizzling and the chemistry was off the charts. I just loved the characters and it had a great premise. Overall it was enjoyable read.
