Don’t be put off by the title. This is a very sweet story. Don’t get me wrong, there’s sex-and lots of it, but the underlying story is funny and caring & sweet. This is probably the 8th book I’ve read by Lauren & they’re all wonderful. Now, I’m on a backlist binge and having a great time. We could all use some steamy, romantic comedy in our lives.
Loved these two characters! They are so likeable; no angst or secrets or harsh feelings. Just two friends falling for each other. Funny and sweet.
I loved this! Mister O is told in the male lead's POV.
When Harper tells Nick, she has trouble talking to men and dating, Nick jumps to the rescue. He volunteers to help her by coaching her. Then, Nick starts to fall for Harper who is his best friend's little sister. This was definitely a feel good read. I loved Nick and Harper's chemistry. The connection between the two of them was great from the very first pages. I would recommend this to any of my romance reader friends!

Nick Hammer is a cartoonist, a pretty famous one and has a TV show based on his comic as well 'Mister Orgasm'. He also happens to be a very cocky, slightly nerdish and very much in lust with his best friends sister Harper Holiday (Spencer's sister from Big Rock). Harper is a magician, a confident beautiful woman who goes all awkward and doesn't know how to act in front of men she's attracted to or likes.
Nick is slightly horrified when Harper asks him to help her win a guy and not be an awkward mess around men. As the lessons progress, their relationship starts changing and Nick starts to really fall for Harper and who wouldn't, the woman is gorgeous, funny and sassy but what about Harper?
I really liked Nick, inside of his hot tattooed covered body is still the guy who would doodle alone in classes and wasn't sure about the opposite sex. Again I loved his POV! Harper and Nick were great together, they had fantastic chemistry, banter and the progression from friends/tutor to lovers was pretty fun to read.

Oh my gosh, this book is EVERYTHING! It’s funny, sexy, and full of heart. Nick Hammer is officially my favorite rom-com book boyfriend. His inner monologue had me laughing so hard, and his sweet side melted me.
What I Loved:
- Nick’s POV: I adore male-only POV books, and Nick is such a fun narrator. He’s a mix of dirty thoughts, awkward charm, and big heart vibes. The way he cares about Harper? Swoon.
- Harper Holiday: She’s quirky, confident, and totally relatable. A magician with a bit of a geeky side? Yes, please! I love how she balances Nick’s over-the-top confidence with her sweetness and sass.
- Friends-to-Lovers: This trope is always fun, and the chemistry between Nick and Harper is insane. Their banter is witty, their tension is off the charts, and when things heat up—WOW.
- The Sexting and Role-Playing: Let’s just say the flirting and dirty texts in this book are gold. Lauren Blakely knows how to write characters who know exactly how to push each other’s buttons (in the best way).
Favorite Parts:
- Nick’s “superhero” level dedication to Harper’s pleasure. He’s basically the Batman of orgasms.
- Harper’s awkward attempts at seduction—adorable and hilarious!
- The way Nick slowly realizes he’s in love with his best friend’s sister. His “aha” moments are so sweet and heartwarming.
Why It’s 5 Stars:
Mister O is everything I want in a rom-com—light, sexy, and filled with characters I root for. Lauren Blakely’s writing sparkles, the pacing is perfect, and the story is packed with laugh-out-loud moments.
If you love feel-good romances with quirky leads, hilarious banter, and a lot of heat, this book is a must-read. Nick and Harper are #CoupleGoals, and I can’t stop smiling after finishing their story! ❤️

Score two for Lauren Blakely! It's not as good as Big Rock, true, but it's really good anyway.
The protagonist is not as compelling as Spencer and there's waaaay too much sex.
Which I never thought would be a complaint from me.
