Lauren Blakely delivers another winner in this spin-off of [b:Big Rock|26252659|Big Rock|Lauren Blakely|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1441742244s/26252659.jpg|46249382]. Mister O is hilarious, naughty, and delightfully sweet. Yes, this is a “best friend’s sister” love story, but the humor and affection prevent it from being just another forbidden romance.
The sexual tension pays off in a big way when Nick agrees to school awkward Harper in the art of dating and love making—and what a patient and dedicated teacher he winds up being. Nick may have sex on the brain 99.9% of the time, but his tenderness really got to me. I appreciated how sex is only one component of their arrangement. First and foremost, their relationship is based on friendship. They get each other—their quirks, inside jokes, fears, and dreams.
I have no patience for couples that play games with each other, and thankfully Nick and Harper don’t give in to manipulation. They may be cautious with their feelings at first, but they’re never less than honest.
The storyline may not be original, but it’s engaging. The characters are unique, funny, and likable, and there’s a surprising lack of drama. In case you’re wondering, the heat level in this book is off the charts! There’s a playfulness incorporated in the bedroom scenes as well that makes for erotic entertainment.
I was in the mood for a fun story and this really fit the bill. Mister O is an amusing and sexy treat!

I absolutely loved this. I am obsessed with Harper and Nick.

*Audible*
If you don't have the new Romance Audible, you need to get it. Esp if you already have Kindle Unlimited or regular Audible membership.
I love listening to books. It's been a while but now with this.... I'm getting more housework done.
Ok the review of the actual story. As always Lauren makes amazing alpha's. While I'm not a huge fan of the best friends sibling stories as I feel they drag out to much, this one worked great. Add in Sebastian York reading and an all male POV. Perfect.

Meh.
Okay, this is a little too succint. Truth is, this book was funny. Not necessarily fun, but funny. I believe the problem I have with this kind of book, is that it focuses a little too much on the physical aspect. There's nothing wrong with it, especially since the steam-level in this one is off the charts, but I would have wanted Nick and Harper to share a little more on the emotional, psychological level.
Anyway, the characters are both enjoyable and round. Maybe the plot could have used a little more twists and twirls, though.
Would I reccomend it? Depends what you're in the mood for. Don't expect an epic love story, but a very modern, uninhibited one. If that's what you're looking for then go for it. If you're looking for ups and downs, feelings and heartwarmth, then maybe you should direct your sight somewhere else.

Love the wit, the sexiness, the awesome storyline. Good job, Lauren!
He's geekier than I thought. Shes sweeter lol great brother's best friend book.
Stayed up way too late reading this guilty pleasure. I picked it cause of the name and it captured me with its humor and sweetness. Such a fun, sexy, romantic book...start to finish in a few hours. Enjoyed every minute. I loved that it was all from the man's POV...he was a charming leading man.

I liked both of these characters, but I found there were some questionable actions that Harper did which didn't really fit. Why did she need lessons when clearly she had some experience with the things that came out of her mouth! It would have been more exciting for a slow burn and more obstacles in their way but in my opinion, there really wasn't anything stopping them from being together from the get go. They both clearly liked one another and their reasons of not following their heart was lame. I do like myself a Lauren Blakely book but it is doubtful I would recommend this particular one.
