As a kid, I always thought nobody ever figures out that Conan is Shin'ichi. I'm glad to be proven wrong.

This one was pretty good as well.

I enjoyed this volume and though I like the episodic chapters, I was hoping we would start getting into some character development by now. We had little hints of it in previous chapters with Mouri but haven’t really seen it since. I’ve been getting filler vibes and am missing the main story.

Dieser Band war nicht so spannend. Irgendwie fehlte da etwas der Funke.

Gosho Aoyama, Case Closed, vol. 13 (ViZ, 1994)

In all honesty, I'm getting kind of tired of the episodic nature of Case Closed at this point; can't we get back to the original storyline? Still, Aoyama does put together some clever mysteries to distract us from the fact that the overall story is going precisely nowhere. I wish I could look forward to the next volume of Case Closed as much as I do, say, One Piece, but it's really tailed off recently. ***
