I have to say, I'm really loving romance sequels where we get to see the couple's relationship grow and develop. I almost forgot how much I love Calla and Jonah, and seeing them again felt like visiting old friends. Even when they're working through the harder relationship discussions, it was a joy to watch them both grow. It makes me want to convince my bf to move to Alaska and live in a log cabin with a gorgeous mountain view and private lake (or I guess move to B.C. since I would never leave Canada for the USA). The new characters were lovable and I think Tucker really captured that tiny, close-knit community feel of Trapper's Crossing. I look forward to rereading both books in the future.
Moderate: Medical content and Grief
Minor: Animal death, Addiction, Alcoholism, Death of parent, Suicide, and Child death
