Absolutely loved it! I’ve been waiting for Rio’s story since book one and… IT WAS SOOOOOO WORTH IT 😭 💗

This series has officially become one of my all-time favourite contemporary romances. I’ve already re-read one book from it, and I just know I’ll be re-reading this one too!

it pains me to give mr rio deluca only 3 stars but this just didn’t hit as hard as i was expecting it to :( and i think it bugged me we didn’t find out, for sure, what drove rio and hallie apart in the first place until 3/4 of the way through the book. like, it was heavily implied and i could guess, but i didn’t feel like i could get properly emotionally invested in their initial break-up because i didn’t know what caused it till they were already back together. and of course i knew they were going to end up back together it just made the whole thing kinda…meh. love liz tomforde tho, and i will pay her all my money to read literally everything she writes.

this was such a heartwarming and fluffy romance. i loved learning about all of rio and hallie’s little quirks and special memories. this was a good palette cleanser. low drama, no cheating, all fluff.

i just don’t like romance books where it’s obvious that every relevant person is a main character in another book in the series. like… i do not care about how A, B, C and D fell in love, and i don’t care about X Y and Z’s older brothers that are somehow all rich, famous, and handsome.

This was the perfect ending to a top tier series. I'm so sad not to spend time with these characters anymore, but it had such a heartfelt and perfectly fit ending. 💙
