Rio Deluca. That's all.

I have loved Rio throughout this series and I liked Hallie as well. I enjoyed the story and the flashbacks  to how they met and fell in love. We don’t find out the whole story of why they break up till the end but they navigate it pretty well. The breakup plot is based on them being young but is heavy on lack of communication between them. Hallie had a rough life after the break up and starts off holding on to her anger longer than Rio. They are so used to being together that they find themselves falling into their old friendship and that’s how they grow. This is a slow burn for the spice but the chemistry is there from the beginning.

A perfect ending to the series

This was an easy read, def predictable but with the same energy as a y2k rom com. Some of the dialogue was cheesier than a cube of cheddar but loved that there wasn’t a dumb third act break up and we got to see them come together for a bit of time before the end. The epilogue was long without needing to be, I wish it gave us more of what happened later on but instead gave us nothinggggggg. A great second chance tho.
