wow. fantastic romance. amazing ending to an amazing series. loved everything about this book. the tropes-incredible, the execution chefs kiss. i don’t think i have ever rooted more for a couple. it had everything- the playfulness, the humour, the tension, the romance, the emotions. everything.

Childhood best friends to lovers is one of the best trope out there! I couldn’t wait for Rio’s story! I loved this character so much since book 1, he is just so cute 🥹 his story was the perfect way to complete this series and finally this group of friends is whole and forever happy

RIO HALLIE MY BABIES !!!!
there’s something so sweet about ending the windy city series with a character that’s always been on the sidelines yearning for love and then give him such a sweet story. first off, i loved that they were childhood lovers. the scenes of them slowly falling into each other (the secrecy! the sweet innocence! the softness of it all!) at a young age made my heart smile. and continually holding each other in their hearts while they were apart?? RIO changing his number to technically her birthday?? buying a blank slate house that he envisioned her remodeling/decorating? OH MY HEART!!
of course there was the whole “will he move back home to play and leave chicago for his hometown team?” aspect that permeated all the scenes. and as much as i tried to argue to myself that it could happen for whatever reason, i knew that ultimately he’d end up staying in chicago with his new found family (‘:
i loved that there were plenty of scenes that featured stevie/zander, indy/ryan, miller/kai, and kennedy/isaiah without taking too much away from rio and hallie’s stories. rio’s little retrospective at the end of the epilogue made me almost cry!!!

IM SO SAD THAT THIS SERIES IS COMING TO AN END, but miss tomforde! i see the scenes that intro a new **WEST COAST CALIFORNIA** series and im sooo excited about that!!!!! and also monty’s book?? LOLLL

windy city series forevaaa 🫶🏼
