I thought the relationship was super cute. I have always struggled with second chance romance though and this one in particular hit a little too close to home. I found it hard for me to want to pick up at times because of the tropes in the book and how they relate to me on a personal level. This doesn’t change the fact that this was a fantastic book the vibes were just hard for me.
This series will always have such a special place in my heart. The found family is everything I’ve ever wanted ❤️

Each time, I feel like I'm not going to enjoy the new book because of how much I loved the previous one. Each time I'm wrong. And Liz Tomforde does it again and again and again.
I can honestly say that I wasn't looking forward to Rio's story that much. He never struck me as leading material compared to the others but L. Tomforde has such an incredible talent for adding depth, for making characters both absolutely normal and just a little oustide the box.
This story, again, is touching. There's history, there's a past and there's a furture. Things take time to unfold and it's just glorious. Once again.
I, for one, am looking forward her next project.

Rio’s story was beyond what I could have ever imagined. We meet Rio as a goofy, happy go lucky hockey player, who can make anyone smile. He’s the life of the party and acts silly.
His story broken my heart and repaired it at the same time! We go between present and past but the past is really important to how the present unfolded.
I’ve been waiting on his story since Mile High and it did NOT disappoint. So so sad to see this series end but it left on an amazing end!
