This book is really disappointing. The idea is excellent, but this is one of those times where I wish it had been written by a better writer. Or even a good writer. Somehow, for such and interesting idea, the book is boring. None of the characters are interesting, so I didn’t really care what happened to them. Only 2 characters get any time, and that time is spent on their boring romance, the others are just there. The ending was very rushed and anticlimactic.

The author has an annoying habit of using the wrong words for things. “Poignant” is used where it should have been “pointed”, “contributed” instead of “attributed”, and others. Really annoying and completely jarred me out of the action. Was this thing proofread or edited? The misuse of language combined with the spelling errors shows a very poor effort from across the board.

The book is also weirdly sexist? Lots of “guys are like this” or “girls are like that” comments in both narration and character speech.
