Thoughts
I’m glad I finished this series, it filled my vampire itch. But I will say the final instalment of this series was a tad MEH. The ‘epic battle’ didn’t feel very epic and the loses we experienced in this book didn’t hit quite the same as we never really got to truly dive into these side characters. I love me a dragon though! And spoilers… it actually made me really sad our FMC lost her powers, she wasn’t my strongest FMC to begin with, then you take that away from her. The ending was cute though.

Was excited for the final book in the trilogy to come out. Unfortunately, I must've no longer been in the same mindset as when I read the first two. This one was my least favorite of the three.

I think it stems from Alexandros being dubbed the main MMC and having most of the center of attention and being my absolute least favorite character.

I also think the plot was all over the place, the drama was wrapped up quickly, and of course Ophelia had to be the one to sacrifice it all and then "be so happy at the outcome". Ugh. Why are we so scared of powerful women. I wanted more Xavier, Axl, and Kai.

This wasn't my favorite of the series, but as always, YMMV.

This was the perfect ending for this story. Everything was wrapped up so nicely, not before ripping my heart into pieces.

I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

The end was kind of what you'd expect. The prophecy reveal came late (like, last third of the book late), and for someone supposedly all-powerful, the final battle was underwhelming. There was no big display of that super magic, just the dragonfire and some spells... It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn't great. I was just ready to be done with the series. But listen, I’m a slut for a happy ending so I enjoyed seeing everything come together.
