Satisfying conclusion and I hope the author makes more stories in this world. Would love to see more of Sirena and the wolves or Lucian and his travels or the witch Nazeel and her mate with Order stuff or tell us the story behind Lucifer in the netherworld. Appreciated that there was a happy ending but still some deaths during the huge battle to make it more realistic.

This was good...but I feel like there was all this foreshadowing that led nowhere or made no sense. For example,
Nazeel was so shady and the reason for it was super unclear.
It was a bit of a let down in the "getting answers" department for me and some characters never felt complete. Pacing somehow felt both rushed and slow. But I still liked how devoted the MC's were. And I appreciated that the fmc's "superpower" was basically empathy. She was strong in some ways, soft in others. I don't need a badass all the time, but I did want her to be a bit more of the plot focus and to show her growth more. And I will never say no to a grumpy but loveable dragon.
In summary: 🤷‍♀️

Ophelia Hart, Axl Thorne, Xavier Adams, Malachi Young, & Alexandros Drakos.
The third and final book in the Broken Bloodlines trilogy. Alexandros’ bond with Ophelia and the boys was severed, so they thought he was dead. They escape to his brother Georgio’s cave in Tibet. They thought he was an ally but he turned out to be
the Big Bad
. Ophelia summons the dragons Aneketos & Epris from the netherworld to save them. They save Alexandros from the caves in Peru. They hang out at Osiris’ safe house in Venezuela for a while, but
Georgio and the wraith find them and take Malachi
. So they go back to Montridge University to fight
Georgio and his dark magic minions, including the undead
. Ophelia had to
sacrifice her powers to defeat the undead and seal the veil between earth and the netherworld
. It was a fine read. The fight and the result was a bit anti-climactic. I don’t feel like any of the characters were developed really well such that it would be gut-wrenching if they had died. I don’t understand Alexandros and his sireds’ love for Ophelia. I couldn’t really distinguish between the three boys Axl, Xavier, and Malachi. Glad I finished the series though.

Compared to the previous installments, this one fell flat for me. I really anticipated this book, but it was almost repetitive with no newly added details. I even skipped through some chapters to see if that would make a difference (it didn’t) :/

OMG Lucian 🥹 Sadie, you know how to rip out a heart then crush it for good measure.. Speechless!
I am obsessed with this series. It had me laughing out loud, crying out loud (you know what you did Sadie) other times just snickering 🤭
Do I still hate Giorgios after book 2 and 3? HELLS YES! Am I absolutely tired today? YES, because I couldn't NOT know what is happening with the "47 minutes until lights out..." That ending though (iykyk). 😶

"For the child borne of fire and blood shall be our ruin or our redemption. Bringing balance to the new world order, be it through peace or total annihilation."

"For all the Montridge faithful who have made it this far, I’m sorry I tore out your hearts, and I hope this little sliver of mine makes up for it. Thank you for loving Ophelia and her vampires as much as I do, Love Sadie xx"

“No, it’s not fucking normal, dickface. It’s love. All- consuming, life- altering, soul- shattering love.”

"I felt your loss as deeply as I did theirs. You are my son. And it does not matter that you removed our bond— you will never not be my son."

“You will learn his name at the end. Only at the end. Before the wraith takes your soul, Lucifer himself will give it to you.”

“Ophelia. You. Are. Everything.”
