So this was the grand finale. I won't lie; after the ending of the last book, I was pretty excited about this. I was glad that he finally got to learn the truth. Honestly, in a way, this ending was fitting; everyone got their deepest wish, even if we had to lose some people to get it. The writing was a bit off, I felt more in the last books than this, though Ani was so sassy, I laughed a lot during his scenes. I'm so proud of Ophelia embracing her power.

This book (and the series as a whole) is a flat out five stars. I would give ten if I could.

Without spoiling it, there aren’t many specifics I can gush about, but please trust that the culmination of the story had me by the balls and my heart in my throat.

The battle felt hard won, the losses tragic, and the ending earned.

And the last paragraph felt like the last three seconds of a movie.

Perfection.

This year has given me some of the best fantasy I have ever read and this series is absolutely going in my physical collection.
