I love why choose romantasy...but sometimes...I need a lil less smex and a lil more focus on the plot π
this final book felt a little disappointing...things happened...the world was saved...but it felt like all the smex kinda overshadowed the rest? If that makes sense...idk it was still an enjoyable read but with all the buildup of the previous books...I felt a bit meh about this one.

Bound in Blood wraps up the series with all the heat, obsession, and chaotic love thatβs defined the previous books. As expected, the plot still leans a little shallowβthereβs not a ton of depthβbut it delivers on the fast-paced drama and steamy dynamics fans came for.
There are four of them, and their obsessive love for one another is front and center. Itβs intense, which I loved, but I just wish that level of passion had carried over more consistently into the spicy scenes. Some felt surprisingly PG, especially considering how emotionally charged the relationships are. That said, I really appreciated Alexandros finally allowing his connection with Xavierβit was a long time coming and added a deeper layer to their bond.
The second half really pulled through. The larger plot finally started to unravel in a satisfying way, giving the story the push it needed. It helped the book earn its place as a solid, if slightly flawed, conclusion.
Not perfect, but still a wild and addictive ride.
