After the shock of an ending in the last book, Promised in Blood, I waited impatiently for this one. Emotions and stacks were high throughout the majority of this book but overall gave me the ending I enjoyed for this series. It helped finally understand the prophecy that was said about Ophelia in the first bool, though everyone was reluctant to admit she was the Chosen One. This book was fast paced for me because something was always happening to lead up the next event and the final battle. The character development within the relationships was also, *chef kiss*, amazing because there was a relationship that developed that I was like "FINALLY!!" All I have to say is Ophelia is one lucky girly and the ending was heartwarming after the wreck we were served last time.
