I have recently read all of the Cat Ninja comics at least 3 times each with the kids I tutor, and I think they're a very cute and fun story about what it means to be a family. I especially appreciate how it handles the topic of divorce, which I think is very important for kids to see in media like this where their feelings can be heard and explored in a healthy manner.

Surprisingly, "The Secret Life And Times Of The Fury Roach" is included in the hard copy of volume one! It's fitting because this is where the Fury Roach was introduced into the story and including his story as a bonus at the end gives readers a chance to understand him better. He is honestly one of my favorite characters in the series because he's just super cute and wholesome proof that not all "bad guys" are bad guys.

The last few pages of the book also feature a cute "Is Your Pet A Superhero Or A Supervillain?" quiz, which implies how Claude and Adonis actually joined the Kwon family.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.

I am always looking for fun and engaging graphic novels for my classroom. The students I work with cannot get enough of them. I know that Cat Ninja will be a hit. It has great illustrations, a super funny story line, and hilarious characters.

I recommend this for grades 3 - 5, although really anyone would enjoy it!
