I’m a bit ashamed that I didn’t like this more. I like both of these authors on their own and I adored the TV version of this they did, so surely I should have loved this book. But I didn’t. It was too much. Too many characters with too many less than meaningful subplots. It just went on and on without actually going anywhere. Really wanted to love it, but just…didn’t.

Fun enough read, but Pratchett and Gaiman were clearly trying to outdo each other in wit and one-upping each other in wacky stuff, which became a bit painful after a while. I have been told this is not their best stuff, and I will read their other work someday. Honestly, the plot is great, but all the random side stories stuff was just a bit much sometimes. Also, no one outside of England knows who the hell Dick Turpin is! Literally had to google him XD. This book is actually quite old, but still pretty relevant!

Great book, definitely from the 90s. There are a few bits that wouldn't make it past an editor today, so grain of salt here and there.

Lovely witty book, Pratchett's humor really shines through here. Wish I would have read it before learning about Neil Gaiman but it is what it is and I won't let his shittiness ruin a book with so much of Terry's heart in it.

This was hands-down the worst book I've ever read. It was so bad I couldn't DNF it. It is like watching a train wreck. You can't look away. Save yourself the time and NEVER read this book.
