"You don't have to understand life, you have to live it." No tienes que entender la vida, solo tienes que vivirla. A veces es así de sencillo, asumo yo.

Este es un buen libro si se está buscando algo sencillo en que reflexionar. 👍🏻🤔😄

This was a great book. A must read for anyone who’s ever had regrets or mental health issues. Everything is about perspective.

i loved matt haig's other book (something w the word time in the title), but was disappointed by this one. i found the main character whiny and annoying and really couldn't sympathize much with her plight. she is definitely not someone i could be friends with irl. i loved the concept and idea behind this book. it also needs some pretty major trigger warnings.

This one had a strong start and strong finish, but the middle dragged on a bit for me.  I lost steam about midway through and I found it a slog until the last 30 pages or so.  The premise is excellent, it is thought provoking, and a wonderful read.  The beginning and end are 5 star reads for sure, but the middle was a 2 star read….I got a little bored in the middle.  I ultimately gave it 3 stars because it was an alright read, but I wouldn’t read it again and I am not keeping it.

This was an exquisite read - as someone who also loves with depression, I could feel Nora’s despair as everything in her life seemed to go wrong all at once. And I love the notion of the library, of the chance to try the roads not taken.

By the final chapters, I had a sense of what would happen. Still, Haig got there with beautiful prose that kept me listening until the last moments. And now I feel like writing new poetry of my own. Stunning, gorgeous book.

A very depressed girl decides to die after her cat dies and she feels useless. She goes to a library where it's always 00:00, unless it's not, and meets her ground school librarian. The old and nice hag allows her to live in random books and she despises it because she is so depressed and life is just blegh. The multiverse is real and I think I understand quantum physics now (dummy version, of course).

Feeling a bit conflicted about my rating— I was convinced I would give this a 3.0, but the last 10% finally got me excited for the MC, so I went up a bit. I was expecting it to have this life-changing feeling to it, but it took so long to get to the point that it failed a bit in that department.

Anyway, good quotes and fun facts in there!

Last but not least, this should have involved trigger warnings about suicide. 🚨😬 I imagine this is VERY hard to read if you’re depressed or suicidal.
