I am curious about where it will go, but if these books were longer I would not invest the time. Definitely not enough romance and the plot is rather slow.

Really good, monster smut is a favorite and Lance is a special brand of guy.
I'm very impressed by all the 'flaws' the MCs have.

This was my first Eva Chase book, and I was SO excited to read it. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!! This book started off intense and addicting, which totally hooked me in. It also really intrigued me that the main character, Quinn, had a heart transplant—it really brought a certain uniqueness to the story since a lot of people don’t write about ailments/diseases/etc. The lore in this book was amazing and well-written/well-thought out, which further added to the uniqueness.
Overall, I really freaking enjoyed this! If you’re a fan of monster romances or if you’re curious about this genre, definitely check this one out! There are some character crossovers from Flirting with Monsters series, but you can read this book on its own—proof is because I haven’t read the series yet, (but I def will) and I was able to keep up and understand things. I am so excited for the next book to find out what happens next!
Also, isn’t the cover gorgeous??? I love the colors. It’s so cool!

Chosen by Villains by Eva Chase is an urban fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Amber Lee Connors and Aiden Snow. This is the first book in The Heart of a Monster series.
I love Eva's books! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between Quinn, Torrent, Lance, and Crag. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Courted by Beasts.
Aiden and Amber did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this series if you're looking for an urban fantasy romances, why choose romances, or romantic suspense.

Meh. It's a quick read with a decent plot but it isn't well written. The main characters are not well developed. Overall, this book is just ok. I have no desire to continue on with the series.

It was ok, if not quite boring.
I think the solution was really obvious but they didnt think of it till so late in the book.
