I couldn’t get into this book when in print but finally did when in audiobook, the narrator was very good but Georgina was so frustrating, I understand she wanted to fit in but it got very hard to relate to her when she kept making selfish decisions and trying to get Frances approved, I really didn’t understand what Thomas so in her but their letter exchange was very cute and Betty was adorable.

I want all historical romances to be this funny and to have characters who only mildly care about being uncouth. I saw it being mentioned that this book isn't "historically accurate" and to that I say: does it have to be? Sometimes you need of a romp of a book and this provided exactly that! Although as a heads up it does deal with the topic of sexual assault.

Georgiana finder herself at odds in society while staying in the English countryside during party season. She makes fast friends with Frances, a fast moving lady of the town who is exceedingly improper, for a lady. Georgiana ends up engrossed in the fast crowd. It's a comedy, it's a story with subtext, and it's funny. It's billed as a "Regency-era Gossip Girl, and that's so accurate.

Mixed feelings, overall I mostly enjoyed it? Would’ve liked to see more of the romance, and I despised the bullying and majority of the behavior that went on. A lot like gossip girl, which I loved when I was younger but when I watch now I question strongly lol

Very much like Mean Girls. It’s pretty predictable but a lot of fun to read.

It really was bridgerton over top of mean girls like two at Francis is Regina George cady is Georgiana they had an adorable little gay friend although I will say I truly loved the love interest a lot more than the one from mean girls. I hated how they treated poor Betty. It's cute but like what I read it again no would I even recommend it to my friends probably not I'm glad I listened to it rather than read it.
