While this book had some cute moments, it lost the quirky charm I found in the first book. The humor felt ill timed and I felt like the author used humor too much when things should have been serious or sad or literally any other emotion other than happy. The dialogue was clunky and the writing felt all over the place. Each chapter ending on some sort of reveal got old real quick.
I am definitely a slow burn lover and I love when characters yearn for each other, but the romance between the villain and Evie just was too much miscommunication and the Villian staring at her body. The male gaze (derogatory) was too strong in this for me personally.
I enjoyed seeing Becky’s pov and her backstory. Honestly I would like a book about her and Blade.

El primer libro me aburrió de una manera, le puse dos estrellas y solo continué con la saga por el plot twist del final... pero este!!!!! Aquí si pasan cosas y vaya que pasan, no me aburro jamás! A cada minuto había información nueva, en cada página algo pasaba.

I skipped through it a little bit the overall plot didn’t interest me that much. It felt repetitive in some cases (for example, almost every chapter ended with some kind of cliffhanger: “your mother is dead” “your father… he escaped” and it was boring since they always resolve the conflict rather quickly) and also the romance was ALSO repetitive. Over and over again they got in situations with forced proximity and they kiss or are almost kiss and then they get broken up by something and then they NEVER talk about it.
