“Impossible. We’re lock screen official now.”

His last name is a type of boat. Coincidence maybe? The fact Evan boated through a storm to get her fake eyelashes was adorable. This book was a bit slow. It has its good moments, but I felt myself skimming just a bit. I don’t think the third act breakup was necessary, but how Evan surprised her was cute. The fact he was willing to compromise with her about their living situations was good communication. I really enjoyed this whole series as a whole, but this one only gets 4 stars for me.

Super quick and cute! I read this in a day so I don't really have much to offer beyond that. It's very cozy and full of the tropes you would expect with fake dating/fish out of water, but I think it also handles the heavier topics it broaches quite well.

I wasn’t sure about this one, and usually I am hooked right from the get go. This one was a slow burn and that’s mainly because I found it harder to connect with Melanie, she’s quite a tough nut to crack and at times acted like a selfish, spoilt and high maintenance brat….. but then you get through all of that and see how vulnerable, scared and scarred she is from her own life and also the men she’s dated and her own family. The ending of this book and yes oh god the series is exceptional. I am going to miss these characters but I always know I can meet them again… plus I am so excited to see what Amy comes up with next.
