It’s slightly unfair. I actually don’t listen to the podcast but what I didn’t like about it were the live recordings and man voice overs.

The audiobook was a great listen since it's read by the authors. They even included some readings from a live show. I really enjoy these two, but for me the funny bits that were trying to sound off the cuff just aren't. It's a book, so their spontanious commentary and storytelling sounds more stilted. I think I just prefer their in person chemistry just a bit more.

This was a fun continuation of the MFM podcast. It was great to hear some of Karen and Georgia’s background stories, especially since many of them have been hinted to in the podcast. Some of the writing did feel erratic and repetitive at times but overall I enjoyed this book.

It was okay, but I definitely prefer the podcast. Without the banter and Karen’s off the cuff jokes, this book just doesn’t have the same appealing charm that keeps me listening to the pod each week.
