This one just arrived in the mail. To the top of the reading pile it goes. Very excited to start this one.
Set in the 1400's during the battles between England and France. Heyden is the son of a serf and determined to join the king's army as an archer. A very good young adult story that tells a tale of war without all the gory details. If Cornwell wrote a children's story this would be it.
